What if we took everything you loved about Sunny Boots – neoprene details, bump toe sensibility, chunky outsole – but wrapped it in something more wintery-substantial?

This was the brief we began with in the development of this new boot style. Executed on a new outsole mold that we call our ‘O-Unit’. A 90s inspired LUG shape that meets the widest extremes of Intertek Abrasion testing and will grip every kind of footpath terrain we can imagine you wearing these shoes in. Orion Skies is the genre defying boot that will become an extension of your daily life. We’ve looked into your crystal ball and can see that by July you won’t be able to imagine leaving home without them.

Runs firm but true to fit. These shoes will feel tight on the first few wears because of how structured the uppers are. The Black Boxed Leather is especially and intentionally stiff (for durability) - so they do start out feeling firm in a kind of 'school shoe' way. The leather is very high quality and a thick handle so it will take time to warm up and mould to your feet. This is a full leather upper / leather lined shoe so will have natural stretch of around 7 - 10% depending on the amount of pressure applied to the upper. 

Black leather upper with a black neoprene throat and natural coloured leather lining. We have specifically selected a neutral colour lining to prevent any colour drop occurring on your socks this winter. Black rubber outsole that features shaded details at the sole edge to create a textural 'wood like' finish on the heel. They look like resin, but wear with the comfort and durability of trainers.

We designed this shoe with the ultimate in 'flat shoe liberation' thinking in the make. Highly versatile, these shoes are smart enough to wear to the studio with a trench, easy enough to wear to school pick up with a juxtaposed and tucked in vintage sweat. Wear them to the rock show with a blazer, with an oversized chunky cable-knit for Saturday morning sharp at brunch, on secret mid-week adventures alone to the gallery to cross town and muse in. They will scatter 'La Garçon' inspired daydreams everywhere they wander and will be the easiest shoes to match with all your moods - ever.

Rad friends this is an extremely high quality leather upper so it does need care. 

Leather is a wonderful material, breathable, durable and beautiful. But without a bit of love it can dry out and deteriorate.

For optimum care, we recommend and sell "Waproo Waterproofer" to protect them from unexpected showers. We recommend spraying monthly on the Full Moon and can send you a reminder if you sign up to our newsletter here.

Polish your leather shoes around once a month and clean when necessary with a leather conditioner and soft rag to remove any dirt accumulated on your travels.

For extra special treatment, polishing can help renew shoes that have developed scratches or other signs of regular wear. Wax and cream polishes available from a local shoe repairer will breath new life into your beloved toe tappers. Once your newly polished shoes have dried you can re-apply a waterproof spray for extra protection.
