These fresh silhouettes are designed in our Melbourne studio to meet the IRL needs of creative women, allowing them to move through life with grace and confidence. Because we produce "little and often," our new arrivals are released in small quantities to test and improve each iteration. New Arrivals at Radical Yes represent the culmination of a slow, intentional 26-week seasonal cycle. Unlike the frantic, six-week turnarounds of fast fashion, our process allows us to prototype and wear-test every new silhouette extensively. This ensures that every sneaker, boot, slip-on, or sandal meets our high standards for comfort and functionality. As an independent and self-funded business, we have the freedom to prioritise quality over quantity. By producing in small batches, we effectively prevent overproduction and material wastage, ensuring our growth is as conscious as our design. This collection includes completely new silhouettes and new colourways or iterations of existing styles.
Our new arrivals are handcrafted in Guangdong, China, by a curated selection of family-owned manufacturers. These makers are more than just suppliers; they are artisanal partners who share our values of independence and high-quality craftsmanship. Kerryn Moscicki visits these factories regularly to maintain a meaningful, collaborative relationship that goes beyond the transactional. This hands-on presence allows us to maintain rigorous quality control (QC) from the very first sample to the final bulk production. By shipping our small runs via sea freight, we maintain a lower environmental footprint, bridging the gap between our Melbourne studio and our makers in a responsible way.
To keep your new Radical Yes arrivals looking beautiful for years, we recommend a proactive care routine. We invite you to join our monthly "Full Moon" ritual, a rhythmic reminder to clean and condition your shoes once a month. For our leather shoes, begin by applying a leather conditioner to keep the material moisturised and prevent the leather from drying out, eventually leading to peeling and cracking over time. For our nylon shoes, we recommend using a fabric cleaner or a damp cloth to spot clean. For all of our shoes, finish with a waterproofing spray to repel water and dust from building up on your shoes. We also advocate for rotating your shoes, wearing them every other day, to allow the premium materials to breathe.
