The Lucent Ankle Boot returns in a sleek Black Tumbled Leather, reimagining a heritage favourite for the modern creative. Defined by its signature centre metal zip, the design ensures clean side facings that slim the ankle and define the foot’s proportions. Set upon our proprietary tonal black rubber outsole, Lucent is a high-function staple lined in signature Electric Peach sheepskin, the ultimate "get things done" boot for a life in constant motion.

Leather Upper | Leather Lined | Injection Mould Rubber Outsole

Fit Notes - Lucent runs true to size but features a narrow silhouette. Due to the placement of the zip closure, we don’t recommend this style for those with wide feet or high arches. However, the leather upper will naturally soften and stretch up to half a size in width.

Upper:
Executed in black tumbled leather, the upper features a textured finish that softens and evolves with every wear. Punctuated by a centre-pull metal teeth zip, this placement allows for a clean, uninterrupted side profile. By pulling the leather from the centre, the boot naturally conforms to the foot, offering a streamlined look that slims the ankle and creates a sharp, intentional silhouette.

Inside:
Lined in our signature buttery-soft Electric Peach sheepskin, Lucent provides immediate ease from the very first wear. The interior features our "Radical" dual-insole system, including a removable insole and a 4mm memory-foam fitting stabiliser. This allows you to fine-tune the fit bespoke to your needs or easily swap in your own orthotics, ensuring total support for long days on your feet.

Outsole:
The boot is grounded by our proprietary rubber wedge flatform in a matching tonal black. This construction offers elevated height with a level, stable pitch, making it an ideal choice for urban walking. The rubber is engineered for durability and traction, providing a sturdy yet flexible foundation that transitions effortlessly from studio sessions to evening endeavours.

Care Instructions

Leather is breathable, durable and beautiful, so give it a bit of love!

Clean when necessary, with a leather conditioner and a soft cloth to remove any dirt.
Polish your shoes once a month using wax or cream polishes such as Waproo Platinum Shu-Glo, to help rejuvenate your shoes from scratches and other signs of regular wear. Once your newly polished shoes have dried, you can reapply a waterproofing spray for extra protection.

I had to buy a second pair
I love these shoes so very much - I cannot stop wearing them. They are so comfortable and I constantly get stopped by people to enquire where I got them. I have purchased a second pair already - in case they stop making them! I am future proofing because I cannot imagine life without these boots.

So comfortable
I have feet that have always been oddly shaped and as a result, it has always been hard to source good shoes. My feet.are narrow yet wide at the top, crazy flat and prone to plantar fasciitis.
Radical Yes has changed everything.
For the first time in my life I have found a brand where every style is comfortable! (Now I just have to save up and buy more pairs...).

Lucent Boot in Kayak
One of my first purchases from Radical Yes and can confirm the Lucent boot is one of the comfiest boots I’ve ever put my feet in!
Instantly comfy on wearing them, no need to break them in and love the centre zip with the generously sized, super strong zip tab! Comfortable sole and great platform height.
Am kicking myself I didn’t get them in gold! Would loooooove them in a neon yellow on black sole if you’re doing more colours!
Also, amazing to support small Aussie business.
