Saint Germain is our refined update on the classic penny loafer. Executed in a textured Moss Green Croc for a unique point of view, the mood of this silhouette is literary, warm, and intellectual. While designing, we found ourselves inspired by the uniforms of writers we admire—Joan Didion and Maya Angelou—thinking about the shoes they may have worn while crafting their most enduring pieces. 

This is a shoe for the "quietly creative." Whether you’re people-watching from a cafe chair or navigating a gallery opening, Saint Germain carries a sense of grounded reflection and sophistication.

Fit Notes - Because of its structured, form-fitting nature, Saint Germain may feel firm and tight at first. The leather will soften and stretch with wear beautifully, and mould to the shape of your foot. If you are between sizes, we recommend taking your larger size. Wear these around the house with thick socks if they are feeling tight, before wearing them outside.

Saint Germain was dreamed up with the "writer’s uniform" in mind: think oversized blazers, crisp white shirts, and vintage denim. This cafe-culture-inspired loafer draws on classic menswear cues while maintaining a sophisticated, feminine edge. With its traditional loafer saddle and extended rand, the construction emphasises durability and timeless style. It is an embodiment of the Radical Yes ethos: shoes made for walking, thinking, and creating.

Because this is a structured loafer, you can expect a firm fit initially, but the premium leather will soften beautifully with wear, becoming a custom fit for your foot. To contrast the sleek exterior, we have lined the shoe in a buttery soft sheepskin in our signature Electric Peach. A suede heel panel and built-in "puff" provide extra grip and comfort, while the memory foam footbed provides a cushioned foundation for all-day wear. The black outsole features a resin heel and rubber heel cap to ensure these remain a long-lasting staple in your collection.

Considered yet versatile, Moss Green Croc is a warmer take on autumn/winter styling. It pairs beautifully with earthy tones and brings an easy sophistication to everyday outfits. We love it styled with black, washed denim, browns, pinks, or greys for a grounded yet uplifting palette. The glossy finish looks striking against all skin tones, and thanks to the non-porous nature of the patent finish, it is exceptionally easy to keep clean.
