I originally loved the aesthetic of this sandal and Lucy Lumen’s modeling of them tipped them to need status. As a person who suffers excessive sweating, I hesitated to invest in a more expensive shoe like this because typically my shoes last only one season due to getting a bit smelly. But a goal this year is to invest in more ethical brands so I took the plunge! So far I am VERY VERY happy with this purchase. I can waterproof the inner which helps protect against excess sweat, and I can also wear this style with socks if it’s extra chilly OR to help with sweat absorption WHILE looking super cute! I have worn without socks on a mild day and the openings allowed good airflow, but my feet still felt warm and protected.
ALSO - I’m a mum of two with a 5MO and am on my feet ALL DAY. Walking/ standing for long periods is easy in this sandal, they are SO SO comfortable! Plus, I must admit I feel slightly fancy punching up my ‘mum wear’ with Tee Bee Cee.
