Details & Construction

Adventure Awaits has been designed to be intentionally exaggerated in the length to ensure that the full foot sits deep in the innersole around the lip of the sole edge, your heel should be fully cupped by the moulded sole edge which is both better for comfort and your foot health.

The silhouette takes 90s cues, and looks at clogs as a starting point for our inspiration. But we wanted to find ways of making them more radical. This is executed through sharper lines and the velcro ankle strap, because we love to keep things modern and useful.

This season it’s all about the multi-coloured crochet upper. Perfect handle, soft to touch and the perfect 'all year round' shoe. Unexpected details are key with the contrasting blue velcro accents and printed Radical Yes logo detail as a reminder of the limited edition nature of this shoe.

The velcro means they are adjustable to almost every heel shape, but we tend to wear them loose and 'sloppy' with a-lot of intentional casual-ness. Built on our existing Arkestra sandal last, this unit has also been made from a 2-piece, super flexible, variegated stacked outsole. Someone say walking on clouds?!

Just like your favourite winter scarf, these toe tappers need a little extra TLC but with a little love and care we can ensure your shoes look new for years to come!

Sponge them down, and let them dry in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight and watch them magically return to box fresh greatness.

Remove any stains with a gentle baby wipe (true story - you must try it!)

Love these crocheted slip ons!
I’m always complimented on these shoes, they’re very striking. It was good to know about the strap from other reviews and I downsized so that the strap didn’t hang as much. The beauty of the shoe still outweighs this functionality.

Too big and no way to tighten
I had similar struggles to the previous reviewer with tightening the back strap with the velcro. I’ve been wearing the same size of Radical Yes shoes for many years and was disappointed to see that my foot was too small for this particular make. Still cool shoes but I can only wear them as a slip on around the house and don’t bother to use the velcro strap.
