Polidor was made in response to one of Paris’s most historic institutions. Taking its name and aesthetic cues from the legendary Polidor Bistro, this loafer is designed to evoke the warmth and creative energy of a space where writers and thinkers have gathered for over a century. The defining feature is the intricate woven vamp, a detail inspired by the bistro’s distinctive window architecture and the deep, honeyed tones of its heritage woodwork. 

Executed in a glowing Ginger leather, Polidor carries a sense of nostalgia while remaining firmly modern. It’s a shoe for long lunches that turn into late-afternoon musings, designed to bring a touch of Parisian soul to your daily rituals.

The woven vamp is the centrepiece of the design, mimicking the structured grid of the bistro's windows and the tactile beauty of its wooden interiors. It’s a sophisticated take on the classic loafer, offering a textural depth that feels artisanal yet clean. Like all our loafers, Polidor is built on the Radical Yes ethos of shoes made for walking, thinking, and creating, featuring an extended rand and a durable black outsole with a resin heel and rubber cap for long-lasting wear.

Inside, the attention to detail continues with our signature buttery-soft sheepskin lining in a vibrant Electric Peach. To ensure these are ready for a full day of city-walking or cafe-sitting, we’ve included a suede heel panel and a soft "puff" at the heel to prevent slipping and provide immediate ease. The memory foam footbed offers a cushioned foundation, while the structured leather upper is designed to soften and develop a beautiful patina over time, becoming a truly personal fit.

Our Ginger colourway is a warm, toasted tan that acts as the perfect anchor for a trans-seasonal wardrobe.
