These Kyoto sandals are unbelievably comfortable (the moulded support in the foot bed is great, the slide on soft and huggable (like the perfect supportive cuddle for your foot) upper and the oh so comfy sole makes them so easy to stand, move and walk in. Stairs are no problem and the adjustable pull toggle work well. They DO look incredibly chic with designer good looks and versatility and wearability (goes with everything skirts, dresses, pants, jeans), so yes , I am planning on wearing mine ALL year round with and without socks and/or tights. I wore these for several hours (with zero issues on 1st wear out if the box) and they really DO give you a height boost WITHOUT the rubbing, blisters foot swelling and discomfort of high heels. They are quiet to walk in (i.e. they don't make much noise either... it's certainly not noticeable like in the video). Completely and totally exceeded ALL my expectations with my first venture into RY neoprene flat shoe offerings, it definitely won't be my last!!! Thank you RY my happy feet and I are so thrilled with Kyoto shoes 🙂
