Our exploration of ballet shoes and square toes continues with the Pina Buckle Shoe. Designed to make you feel light and flexible, we’ve reimagined the pleated vamp silhouette with a Mary Jane strap and a sleek silver buckle. Wrapped in the softest black leather, it’s slightly active, slightly sharp and our lightest shoe yet. Radical and Yes!

Details & Construction

The Pina Ballet Shoe is all about comfort and grace.

Crafted from supple black leather, the soft upper is grounded by a variegated EVA rubber outsole for longevity and a modern silhouette. The insole is fabricated from the softest sheep leather and loads of 4mm EVA memory foam to offer comfort and dance like flexibility.

The top line is cut shallower than the original Pina Ballet shoe, and is finished with a Mary Jane Strap and silver buckle. We think you’ll also dig the cheeky black grosgrain and rubber embossed R.YES on the rear.

Care instructions

Leather is breathable, durable and beautiful so give it a bit of love!

Clean when necessary, with a leather conditioner and soft rag to remove any dirt.
Polish your shoes once a month using wax or cream polishes such as Waproo Platinum Shu-Glo to help rejuvenate your shoes from scratches and other signs of regular wear. Once your newly polished shoes have dried, you can re-apply a waterproof spray for extra protection.
