Part trainer, part boot, all radical! The Tokyo trainer is the love child of the Sunny Boot and Kyoto Sandal.

Harnessing the pull on comfort and stretch-ability of neoprene, our famous upper has been given a hiking inspired update, through neoprene overlay panels and hiking cord detailing. The palette of layers of cherry and klien blue is grounded by the black outsole to bring just the right amount of colour to your day. Radical and Yes!

Details & Construction

The Tokyo Trainer slips on like a sock and the neoprene (like scuba diving suit material) has a thick handle for ultimate comfort and foot huggability.

The carefully considered palette brings a sophisticated pop of colour and just the right amount of contrast. The cherry neoprene upper is cut lower than the Sunny Boot, skimming the ankle just so. The deep cherry neoprene overlay features a black binding detailed with blue specks and the upper is set upon our injected rubber outsole designed for hard wearing and long life durability.

Being highly durable neoprene, these toe tappers are so easy to care for!

Sponge them down, and let them dry in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight and watch them magically return to box fresh greatness.
Regular waterproofing is essential to protect from unexpected showers. Try our Waproo Platinum Eco Stain & Water Repellent at least once a month on the Full Moon - we’ll send you a reminder when you sign up to our newsletter. Yes, we still care even when they’re in your hands!
Remove any stains with a gentle baby wipe (true story - you must try it!).

Comfortable and cool
They shoes are so easy to slip on and off and are so comfortable to wear all day. I get a lot of compliments on the cool shape and tie however they do look a little bit brighter red online in real life. They’re a little bit more muted.

Absolutely Gorgeous
I didn’t think anything could outdo my brighter version of these trainers, but these have become my new (and almost daily) go-to - especially for Autumn and Winter. Great fit, very comfortable and totally eye-catching despite being more muted than the others. Well done again, Radical Yes!
