Meet Barbar, the run-around boot done radical with pull on comfort and winter warmth of supple apricot metallic leather, made sport-luxe sharp with the contrast of our signature exaggerated trainer outsole.

This season we have opened the throat to update the proportions of this boot which slim the ankle and define the foot in a really sophisticated way. Radical and Yes!

Details & Construction

The carefully considered upper is crafted from apricot metallic leather, which is soft to touch and lovely to wear, and will keep your feet dry and cosy through those long winter days! The clean lines of the upper include details like a leather pull tab through the heel and elasticised side gussets for easy pull on comfort, while the pattern has minimal stitch lines for a purely modern look making Barbar a very versatile, very wearable shoe.

Set upon our proprietary rubber outsole, featuring our removable athletic insole and 3mm removable memory foam fitting stabiliser, these boots bring unbelievably comfort. Someone say walking on clouds?

Care instructions

Metallic leather is a delicate material that is created by bonding a metallic foil over the underlying leather and it requires some extra love and care. It is a lot more prone to scuffing compared to normal leather.

Clean when necessary, with a leather conditioner and soft rag to remove any dirt.
Polish your shoes once a month using wax or cream polishes such as Waproo Platinum Shu-Glo to help rejuvenate your shoes from scratches and other signs of regular wear. Once your newly polished shoes have dried, you can re-apply a waterproof spray for extra protection.
Regular waterproofing is essential to protect from unexpected showers. Try our Waproo Platinum Eco Stain & Water Repellent at least once a month on the Full Moon - we’ll send you a reminder when you sign up to our newsletter. Yes, we still care even when they’re in your hands!

Stunning and Fun
I am a long time fan of the Barbar boot. It started with the gold, then black staple, and now the stunning and very fun sparkles of the Apricot. A bit of bling in a boot to fend of the boring. I wear these to every occasion, from work, playing a recital and going out with the ladies. Always makes me feel extra springy.

Getting so many compliments!
Loving my new boots. I’ve been getting so many compliments and I just love how the unusual apricot metallic colour elevates any outfit! bought true to size and they were a bit big (I didn’t read the detailed sizing instructions and reviews which might’ve suggested I go down a size) - but luckily I had some wool fleece insoles at home and they’ve ended up being a great fit.
Am keen to visit the store in Nth Melb to try on more styles.
