Our square-toe silhouettes have created a collection of best-selling and beloved styles. Traditional pointed shoes often restrict movement, but our square-toed lasts offer a wider toe box that respects the natural shape of the foot. This considered approach to silhouette is informed by Kerryn’s 20 years of experience in product development. By producing "little and often" in small quantities, we can rigorously monitor the quality control (QC) of these architectural and unique shapes, ensuring they maintain their crisp lines and comfortable fit through every iteration.
Our square-toed styles are handcrafted in Guangdong by artisanal, family-owned manufacturers who have been our partners since inception. We prioritise high-quality leather materials that hold their sculptural form while remaining soft against the foot. Because we operate on a 26-week seasonal cycle rather than the frantic pace of fast fashion, we have the time to bridge the gap between our Melbourne design studio and our makers, ensuring our ethical and quality standards are met in person. Our proximity to these makers also allows us to utilise sea freight, significantly lowering our carbon footprint compared to air-shipped trend products.
