Lunar - Boot in Black Leather on Black Outsole

Slim line stretch booties. The perfect run-around wedge flatform made radical with monochrome black outsoles! We love the proportions of this boot which slim the ankle and define the foot in a really sophisticated way. 

One of the best things about working with our maker Mipiaci is that we have been able to access a different level of construction and manufacturing techniques. This has meant for the first time we have been able to open the outsole mold (complete with our own proprietary 'Hasten Slowly' embossed wording) to our own specifications.  Made from gum rubber this outsole has natural spring for all day comfort, is deceptively light and extremely durable and frankly we are really proud of this one! We love the way the outsole adds a bit of height and drama the way a heel can whilst still remaining entirely wearable. 

The platform sole took a number of rounds of development to perfect and has been carefully considered to make sure platform is distributed just right. The carefully executed upper pattern has flattering stitch lines that are reminiscent of our Dharma shoes for a purely modern look. The clean lines of the silhouette make it very versatile shoe.

A classic silhouette for us, the Lunar bootie is slim-fitting, above the ankle and a whole lot of amazingness! The boot will sit snuggly over the foot with our Dharma-esque silhouette lines flattering the feet. Featuring a side zip for that extra snug fit, the leather will soften over time. Orthotic friendly and features removable innersole so you can change them over easily to your own if you need to.

These shoes run shorter and narrower than our other styles, we suggest sizing up one size larger than your regular fit.

A classic winter leather boot style in a beautiful soft and supple black leather, which has an incredible matte texture which still having a subtle shine, for that little something radical and yes!

This is a leather upper / lined product so like all leather shoes will have around 8 - 10% stretch on wearing depending on the amount of pressure applied to the upper.

Made responsibly in China in small batch quantities by our boutique manufacturing partner, Mipiachi.

There's the obvious choices, tucked under denims paired with oversized knits and coats, but actually we also love to play off the utility themes of these boots with contrasting feminine dress details and coloured socks peeking out the top. For the weekends we also enjoy mixing the look with a bit of intentional luxe grunge with an oversized long line skirt and vintage printed sweat. As always it's about the juxtaposition of something quite feminine up top to play up to the more masculine lines of this shoe. Radical and Yes!

This is high quality leather upper so it does need care. 

Leather is a wonderful material, breathable, durable and beautiful. But without a bit of love it can dry out and deteriorate.

For optimum care, we recommend and sell "Waproo Waterproofer" to protect them from unexpected showers. We recommend spraying monthly on the Full Moon and can send you a reminder if you sign up to our newsletter here.

Polish your leather shoes around once a month and clean when necessary with a leather conditioner and soft rag to remove any dirt accumulated on your travels.
