A radical shoe love-child! Our Lead the Way boots are what would happen if the Everything Wool Lined Boots got married to Lunar Booties and they transformed into one super shoe. Black nubuck upper, merino wool lined and featuring our basically famous flatform wedge outsole to keep you elevated from cold winter pavements. Radical and yes!

SIZE & FIT

True to size. You do not need to size up to accommodate the wool lining - the nap will soften down like Wool Slippers do within a few wears.

As with all leather, expect an 8-10% stretch on wearing, depending on the pressure applied to the upper.
Featuring our removable athletic insoles along with a 4mm memory foam fitting stabiliser, these boots are orthotic friendly

CONSTRUCTION

The Lead the Way boots feature a whole lotta elastic and will sit snuggly over the foot with a streamlined silhouette which flatters the feet. This seasons update has been crafted from black nubuck upper, set on our now famous black flatform wedge outsole to keep you elevated from cold winter pavements. These beauties have been luxuriously lined in Australian Merino Wool shearling to keep your feet toasty during the cooler months.

STYLING

These boots are uber easy to style! There is the obvious choice - tuck them under your favourite denims and pair with oversized knits and coats for a cosy winter look. Or we love to play off the utility themes of these boots, contrasting them with feminine dresses and coloured socks peeking out the top.

For the weekends we enjoy mixing the look with a bit of intentional luxe grunge with an oversized long line skirt and vintage printed sweat. As always it's about the juxtaposition of something quite feminine up top to play up to the more masculine lines of this shoe. Radical and Yes!

LOVE & CARE

There is a misconception that nubuck shoes are too tricky to care for, but with a little love and care we can ensure your shoes look new for years to come!

Regular waterproofing is essential to protect from unexpected showers. Try our Waproo Waterproofer at least once a month on the Full Moon - we’ll send you a reminder when you sign up to our newsletter. Yes, we still care even when they’re in your hands!
Try to avoid getting your nubuck shoes soaking wet. If you know the weather outside will be miserable, maybe leave your nubuck shoes at home! If you do get your shoes wet, take them off and let them dry quickly.
Use a suede brush gently remove any dust or dirt that may have fallen onto your shoes before reapplying the waterproofing spray
