Lead The Way - Boot in Black Leather

More shoe love-child antics. Lead The Way Boots. This is what would happen if Everything Wool Lined Boots got married to Lunar Booties and they transformed into one super shoe. They would be lined with Australian Merino wool. But they would feature our basically famous flatform wedge outsole to keep you elevated from cold winter pavements. Oops we did it again. Made exactly what you asked us to. Almost down to the Black Leather/Gum outsole combo letter.

Based off our classic Lunar silhouette, the Lead The Way boot is slim-fitting, above the ankle and a whole lot of amazingness! The boot will sit snuggly over the foot with streamlined silhouette lines flattering the feet. Featuring a whole lotta elastic for that extra snug fit, the leather and elastic will soften over time. Orthotic friendly and features removable innersole so you can change them over easily to your own if you need to. Length is true to fit. You do not need to size up to accomodate the wool lining - the nap will soften down like Wool Slippers do within a few wears.

A classic winter leather boot style in a beautiful soft and supple Black leather. The upper has a gently textured grain and subtle shine, contrasted with a gum outsole to keep the feeling active and modern - radical and yes!

This is a leather upper / wool lined product so like all leather shoes will have around 8 - 10% stretch on wearing depending on the amount of pressure applied to the upper.

There's the obvious choices, tucked under denims paired with oversized knits and coats, but actually we also love to play off the utility themes of these boots with contrasting feminine dress details and coloured socks peeking out the top. For the weekends we also enjoy mixing the look with a bit of intentional luxe grunge with an oversized long line skirt and vintage printed sweat. As always it's about the juxtaposition of something quite feminine up top to play up to the more masculine lines of this shoe. Radical and Yes!

This is high quality leather upper so it does need care. 

Leather is a wonderful material, breathable, durable and beautiful. But without a bit of love it can dry out and deteriorate.

For optimum care, we recommend and sell "Waproo Waterproofer" to protect them from unexpected showers. We recommend spraying monthly on the Full Moon and can send you a reminder if you sign up to our newsletter here.

Polish your leather shoes around once a month and clean when necessary with a leather conditioner and soft rag to remove any dirt accumulated on your travels.

For extra special treatment, polishing can help renew shoes that have developed scratches or other signs of regular wear. Wax and cream polishes available from a local shoe repairer will breath new life into your beloved toe tappers. Once your newly polished shoes have dried you can re-apply a waterproof spray for extra protection.
