Bananas - Retro Trainers in Dusty Pink

This season we wanted to expand our aesthetic vocabulary in sneaker land. An idea of merging the past with the future. Bananas Trainers in Dusty Pink. The addition of a mono orange lace detail keeps the feeling intentionally clashed - and played into this idea of opposites playing harmoniously together. In the end, we called it Bananas because of the accent the spliced lime yellow accents, executed in the softest leather through the whole collar of the shoe to support an on-your-feet-everywhere lifestyle. This is Radical Yes.

This is a leather upper / leather lined product, but a mesh/synthetic frame will not stretch as much as a full leather shoe. Expect around 5% stretch on wearing depending on the amount of pressure applied to the upper. 

Dreamy dusty pink toned suede at side edge and lace facings, with a modern athletic inspired lime suede accent on the side panels. A lighter toned pink nylon is used throughout the upper with self stitch foam padding detail. Intentionally clashed to perfection with a lime leather heel panel for true 70’s inspired boldness. Finished with creamy leather lining at the ankle and orange laces.

Leather & Textile Upper / Leather Lined / Stacked Rubber / EVA Sole

We were channeling a kind of winter freshness with this palette and saw it as something light to wear against heavier earthy toned outfits. Thinking camo-inspired patch pocket chinos, oversized sweats and layers of bomber jackets for the weekend 'gone boldering' kind of attitude. During the week, for a mix up we love these with cropped flares and crisp white tuxedo shirt for contrast. 

Leather is a wonderful material, breathable, durable and beautiful. But without a bit of love it can dry out and deteriorate.
