Neptune 2.0 - Athletic Sandal in Bronze Multi

Athletic hiking sandals designed for your daily commute. Constructed on a 2-piece layered outsole unit for both comfort and durability, the innersole also features molded arch and toe bed support for an exposed toe situation that is the sandal equivalent of walking on clouds, adding bouncy spring to the heel strike. The outsole has also been variegated (lines through the outsole) to help prevent slipping in wet conditions. 

The upper silhouette is built as three velcro straps cross the upper, making the sizing very adjustable to whatever arch shape you have. Very forgiving in the width also because of the adjustable straps. The straps themselves were created with thick die-cut leather panels for long-wearing durability and then covered in Nylon Webbing for the full summer-on-the-run mood. Intentional 'warrior' sandal execution through the back of the shoe with further die-cut and wrapped strapping. Each strap is finished with leather tabs set with chunky self-coloured chunky buckle detail. Our favourite detail however is the embossed 'R.Yes' strap reminding you that a positive 'yes' day is ahead!

Running true to fit in both length and width. The silhouette is designed with 'length', so it's quite normal for your toes to have a bit of space at the sole edge when you are looking down on them. Think at least half a thumb length. Because of the adjustable straps sizing is easily adjusted for most feet shapes including wide and very narrow feet.

New 2-piece stacked outsole construction in a delicious stacked biscuit and latte execution creates a cool contrasted feeling at the sole edge. Framed with latte toned leather facings that are then layered with a cool bonze webbing strap inspired by our best selling North Star Clutch in Bronze. To keep the feeling high-summer, we have accented the upper out in our own die-to-match plastic buckles in lime and leather tab finish to bring the radical to the more neutral take on this sandal.

Every day of Summer! YES! These sandals have been designed to be your trainer substitutes in Summer and so in this way we like wearing them with a kind of casual-ironic-hiking vibe in mind. Printed tees, tucked into easy denims at the weekend but also quite great for mid-week juxtaposition with a suit and blazer for summer meetings in the studio. Excellent with spaghetti strapped dresses - we like the contrast of a silk slip with these chunked up sandals - meaning you can totally get away in the for evening escapades as well. 

Not really. The leather under straps on this shoe have had their edges treated and painted to ensure rigidity and durability to their form meaning these beauties really will hold their shape for years to come.

Start by waterproofing with a quality spray - we recommend and sell Waproo. If your toe tappers become wet let them dry and dust down with a soft cloth
